The Oyster Cradle is a handcrafted hardwood tool designed to make oyster shucking safer, easier and more comfortable. The cradle securely holds the oyster while a built-in counterbalance brace locks against the edge of the table or counter to prevent movement. This improves knife control, reduces the risks of slips, and reduces the strain on the wrist, hand, forearm, and shoulder. Each Cradle is handcrafted in Rhode Island from solid hardwood and finished with our custom-made penetrating oil with a mixture of pure mineral oil and fractionated coconut oil that conditions and protects the wood.
